If you look at the black area as a large flat with the white opening in it that C.B. is standing in, It could work. The other white areas could also be holes in the black flat for rear projections. projecting all of the text. and other imagery. One other way to think about this is to see your entire collage as a single frame in a progression of images. Imagine what would come next. What is C.B. made out of is he a large puppet? is his image painted on a flat? I think the image is really ironic-something about the seriousness of the text and the C.B. existential dilemma.
Now try figuring out how to do the stage settings for something like this. Doesn't really work so well.
